Washington, DC — Equipped with a degree in Political Science & Government from one of the 3,500 or so, mission-less, mind-less, state universities, I was told nothing about the political philosophy governing the Dems or Rs, much less the political philosophy within the ranks of the parties.

I learned those nuisances after thirty years of political trench warfare; common-sense, and an appetite to consume various policy books and media.

I discovered too the name describing my political philosophy: Paleo-Conservative. Upon learning more about it, you may also count yourself among its adherents. I would also contend that if you want to understand The Trump Factor, the rise of populists and independents like RFK, Jr. and newly elected Argentine President Javier Milei, and the never-ending war being fought for the soul of the GOP, understanding Paleo-Conservatism is critical.
